Our non-rated range covers solid core internal and external doors, decorative timber veneer and high-pressure laminate (HPL) finishes. We also make specialist lead-lined and metal-clad doors for sites with particular requirements.
Solid core doors have a high-density particleboard core, framed in timber and faced with durable door skins. Hollow core doors are lighter and cheaper, but a solid core door gives you better acoustic performance, less warping and a solid feel every time it’s opened or closed.
The solid core is the base of every door in our non-rated range. The facings and linings on top of it can then be matched to how and where the door will be used:

All of these doors are non-rated, meaning they aren’t fire-rated or tested to a certified acoustic rating. They’re the right choice wherever a rated door isn’t required but you still need strength and durability.
